Some people think that a membership like that is a downer, but I believe if it wasn't a 6 month membership then it would really be crap.

This is really what helped me decide to try it out on my quest to become a video game tester. In the past I got burned quite a few times and ended up losing tons of money without getting any video game testing jobs. Usually if the guide you want to try doesn't have a money back guarantee then it usually is a scam.
Kind of Video Games Tested
Some places you may check out will only let you try to get game jobs that test some small online pc games. When I first decided to become a video game tester I wanted to test the new high quality stuff, not get paid very small amounts to test out small games. With Game Testing Ground I was able to test Playstation 2 games along with Xbox games and a few high quality PC games.
